Senior Environmental Compliance Manager

Overview

A technically grounded Environmental Compliance Manager with a deep expertise in air quality, environmental permitting, and regulatory compliance. With over a decade of experience across both public and private sectors, this professional has worked in air pollution control, infrastructure development, and fiduciary oversight of high-impact environmental projects.

Currently serving in a project evaluation and compliance review role for large-scale infrastructure initiatives, they are seeking to transition into project management, technical leadership, or a role contributing to the growth of an air quality or PFAS-focused service line.

 

Key Skills and Competencies

Environmental Permitting & Compliance

  • Subject-matter expert in Title V permitting, stack testing, and air emissions compliance.
  • Former lead permit engineer for industrial and manufacturing facilities in multiple regions across the U.S.
  • Experience includes Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, compliance documentation, and long-term site evaluations for public infrastructure projects.

Technical Oversight & Project Review

  • Provides comprehensive technical reviews of environmental components in infrastructure development projects—ensuring regulatory alignment and permitting accuracy.
  • Combines environmental analysis with financial oversight, serving as a fiduciary for environmental budgets and performance metrics.

Leadership & Program Growth

  • Operates as a trusted technical advisor across cross-functional teams, supporting all active environmental projects.
  • Open to stepping into formal leadership roles and pursuing licensure or certification (PE/PMP) to support team development or programmatic growth.
  • Particularly interested in helping build or expand services related to air quality, PFAS mitigation, or environmental compliance.

Client & Agency Engagement

  • Experienced in coordinating with environmental regulatory agencies and multidisciplinary consulting teams.
  • Skilled at interpreting complex environmental standards and converting them into actionable, compliant strategies for clients and stakeholders.
  • A valuable contributor to collaborative teams focused on long-term environmental planning, permitting, and compliance strategy.
