Rick Amero is an Executive Recruiter at Enginuity Advantage, bringing more than 25 years of experience to select searches. He works alongside the Enginuity team to identify and attract leadership and specialized talent across engineering, construction, hospitality, accounting, manufacturing, and other professional industries.

Rick is known for building trust, listening carefully, and understanding what both candidates and clients truly need. He looks beyond the résumé and job description to recognize potential, assess cultural fit, and connect the right people with the right organizations. As a strong advocate for everyone involved, Rick communicates honestly, follows through, and remains committed throughout the entire search process.

Outside of work, Rick enjoys spending time with his wife, Maureen, and their family, watching the Mariners, taking long walks, collecting baseball cards, exploring astronomy, and reading books about the lives of the Stoics. Rick and Maureen also share a special 33-year tradition of toasting with Champagne every Friday night to celebrate making it through another week. He also played semi-professional ice hockey in Sacramento many years ago.

Best part of my job: Being in someone’s corner, helping them recognize their value, move toward an opportunity that can positively change their life, and helping companies build stronger teams.

Favorite weekend activity: Spending time with Maureen and family, watching the Mariners, or taking long walks

Favorite drink: Maureen and I toast with Champagne every Friday night – we made it through another week – a 33-year tradition!
